Product Description
This ABC Conical Knee Brace with Low Profile Hinge features a 3/16" latex-free neoprene body with nylon on both sides. It is designed to fit a cone-shaped leg or hard-to-fit leg. A patellar opening is included for positioning of the knee cap and comfort. The brace has an anterior wrap around closure on the top and a closed bottom around the calf area. This allows for a better fit for a cone-shaped leg. There are upper and lower circumferential straps for support with posterior adjustable elastic segment. It comes with an open popliteal for added comfort.
The Low Profile hinge is a polycentric hinge. It has hyper-extension stops. It is designed to be low profile so that it does not protrude as much as some of the other hinges. Also, includes stainless steel adjustable and covered hinges with hyperextension stops. Boot pulls are provided to make it easier to put on the brace.
This product fits right or left knees.

This brace is also available is ABC Cool Tech Material for those who have to wear their supports for a long period of time, or that have heat or allergy issues with neoprene. [AKS18C].
The Brace is also available in a longer and more supportive version. The 17" version of the brace is called the ABC Conical Knee Brace - 17" [AKS21]. This brace comes with four (4) total adjustable velcro brand 2" "loop and lock" straps are inclued. Two (2) are located immediately above and two (2) immediately below the patellar opening. These additional straps add even more support. The straps have an easy-open tabs and finger loops. The back of the brace is designed with a large opliteal opening for greater flexion and comfort.
Sizing and Fitting Information
For proper size, measure the circumference of the leg at the center of the knee cap with leg extended.
